Join the A703 to Peebles just south of the Edinburgh City Bypass (A720). Note that the road becomes the A701 between Penicuik and Leadburn, but reverts to being the A703 from Leadburn to Peebles. At Peebles, take a left at the roundabout where the A703 meets the A72. Follow the A72 east towards Innerleithen. Glentress is signposted, with the 7stanes trails signposted a little further on. Follow the road for around 3.5km. The entrance to Glentress is on the left.
From Dumfries
Take the A701 towards Moffat. Continue through Moffat and join the B712 (signposted for Stobo). Follow the B712 to the A72 and turn right onto the A72 towards Peebles. Continue through Peebles town centre on the A72 and, at the roundabout where the A72 meets the A703, go straight on. Glentress is signposted, with the 7stanes trails signposted a little further on. Follow the road for around 3.5km. The entrance to Glentress is on the left.
From Glasgow
Head east on the M8, then turn off at Newhouse to take the A73 via Carluke to Lanark. From Lanark, take the A721 / A72 via Carnwath to Peebles. Continue through Peebles town centre on the A72 and, at the roundabout where the A72 meets the A73, go straight on. Glentress is signposted, with the 7stanes trails signposted a little further on. Follow the road for around 3.5km. The entrance to Glentress is on the left.
From Carlisle
Take the A74(M) to junction 15 (Beattock) and turn onto the A701 through Moffat. Continue through Moffat and join the B712 (signposted for Stobo). Follow the A696 and then the A68 through Jedburgh. Just past Newton St Boswells, turn left onto the A6091 through Melrose. The road becomes the A72 just by Galashiels. Follow the A72 through Innerleithen. Glentress is 7km further on, entrance on the right.
