Ruth Asbery, founder of Bottle Green Biking in Castle Douglas, recently won the top prize in the regional finals of the Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards.
Ruth created Bottle Green Biking in December 2009 to offer mountain bike tuition for people of all ages and abilities on the 7stanes trails. She has now expanded the business to include mountain bike guiding and is currently developing “off piste” routes for enthusiasts, as well as tailor-made packages.
As well as running her business, Ruth also manages our very own 7stanes Mountain Bike Display Team.
